Manchester United’s new signing Amad Diallo has been included in the squad to face West Ham for the FA Cup.

Amad Diallo arrived in Manchester a month ago and has already won over the Red Devils’ hearts. The 18-year-old has made two appearances for United’s Under 23 squad and already has three goals and three assists to his name.

Naturally, the winger’s amazing start in England has also led fans to plead Solskjaer to include him in the first-team squad. Before United’s clash with Everton, the Norwegian manager even suggested that Diallo would soon be called up.

“We will make a decision on Amad in the week [on] what he does at the weekend – if he’s in our squad. It depends on many factors, if we have injuries or COVID. You never know, but he might be playing on Friday [for the U23s] but yeah. I will make a decision on Thursday,” Solskjaer told reporters.

It looks like the former Atalanta youngster will be given his first chance to play for the senior side. In fact, Diallo was pictured in the first-team training session this Monday. Moreover, the young player was flagged outside of Lowry Hotel, where Manchester United are staying before their cup clash.

According to several reports, Solskjaer will likely give the night off to some of his regular squad. Therefore, this will give the young rising stars a chance this Tuesday night. Besides Diallo, the Red Devils may also feature players like Dean Henderson, Van de Beek, and Telles in the lineup.
