The Ivorian star has decided to leave Crystal Palace as a free agent this summer.

Galatasaray is reportedly on the verge of completing a move for Wilfried Zaha.

Zaha had been sought after by several clubs, but it seems he is inclined to continue his career with Galatasaray.

According to the Athletic, Zaha is set to join the Turkish champions as a free agent. The 30-year-old recently rejected Palace’s last-ditch effort to keep him at the club for another season.

Zaha has spent a remarkable stint with Crystal Palace, where he returned permanently in 2015 after leaving Manchester United. Having begun his journey in Palace’s academy at the age of 12, Zaha made his senior debut in 2010 during a match against Cardiff City.

On Sunday, Galatasaray confirmed they were in negotiations to complete Zaha’s transfer. Fabrizio Romano has claimed the former Man Utd star will sign a three-year contract at Galatasaray,

Throughout his time at Crystal Palace, Zaha has participated in over 450 matches, registering 90 goals and 76 assists. The Ivorian star has attracted attention from several Premier League sides in recent years, including Everton and Arsenal. However, it seems he has decided to end his career at the English top flight ahead of the next campaign.

Who will replace Zaha at Crystal Palace?

Zaha’s imminent departure will force Palace to consider signing a replacement ahead of the next season. According to the Mirror, Leeds United’s Wilfried Gnonto is the main candidate to replace Zaha this summer.

The teenage forward scored four goals and provided four assists in his 28 appearances last season. With Leeds being relegated to the Championship, an offer from Palace could appeal to Gnonto.
