The Arsenal star has attracted interest from a number of clubs after his wonderful season at Reims.

Kevin Campbell believes Arsenal should “cash in” on Florian Balogun despite his fantastic form.

The Gunners striker joined Reims on a loan deal in search of regular playing time last season. His wonderful displays for the Ligue 1 side saw England and the United States compete for his allegiance, with Balogun eventually joining the USMNT.

Campbell advises Arsenal to sell Balogun but secure a buy-back clause for the striker.

“I think Balogun’s done fantastically well in France. He’s done superb. But the Premier League’s a different kettle of fish. Now, will he play?,” the ex-Arsenal star said.

“No, I don’t think he’ll play at Arsenal. And now he’s been playing, he wants to keep that momentum going. So I think, coming from Balogun, he’s going to say I want to play. And he’s not going to be a starter at Arsenal.

“So I think, what do we need? We need the money. Cash in, get the money. You can always get a buy-back clause in there if he goes absolutely mental, just like a lot of the other clubs do.”

Balogun registered 20 goals for Reims last season, attracting interest from a number of top clubs. The American striker is under contract until 2025, with Arsenal being under no pressure to sell him this summer.
