In a highly anticipated event dubbed ‘The Last Dance,’ football legends Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are set to face off in a friendly between Al Nassr and Inter Miami.
The match, part of the Riyadh Season Cup, will take place at the King Fahd Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The fixture is scheduled for February next year, but an exact date is yet to be provided.
Ronaldo, now with Al Nassr, and Messi, playing for David Beckham’s Inter Miami, will headline a three-team tournament that also includes Al Hilal. The fixture is expected to be a rare encounter between the iconic duo, potentially marking one of the last times they face each other on the field.
This clash follows their previous meeting in January during a friendly between PSG and the Saudi All-Star XI when Messi was still with the French club.
The upcoming match promises to be a highlight of the Riyadh Season Cup. Another thrilling encounter could’ve been Messi’s reunion with Neymar. However, the Brazil international is set to miss the Inter Miami vs Al Hilal match due to a serious injury. Having torn his ACL, Neymar is expected to make his return at the end of the current campaign.
