Cristiano Ronaldo’s Juventus teammate Leonardo Bonucci showed his love for Heineken and Coca-Cola by toasting Italy’s success.

Leonardo Bonucci vowed to ‘drink everything’ after winning the European Championship with Italy on Sunday.

The 34-year-old defender scored in the second half to cancel out Luke Shaw’s opening goal for England as Italy won the Euro 2020 final 3-2 on penalties after extra-time at Wembley.

Once the on-pitch celebrations had ended, Bonucci showed up for a press conference. But he was in no mood to follow Cristiano Ronaldo’s stance against UEFA’s sponsored drinks and enjoyed a swig of Coca-Cola and Heineken right in front of the reporters.

“I deserved this one, didn’t I?” Bonucci said after drinking a beer.

He then opened a Coke bottle, drank from it, and added: “I’ll drink everything tonight.”

Bonucci’s stunt came after UEFA prohibited players from moving their sponsored drinks following the uproar caused by Ronaldo.

The Portugal captain made headlines at the beginning of Euro 2020 by moving a pair of Coca-Cola bottles out of his sight in a press conference and then said to onlookers: “agua” (water in English).

Just that small action set an unbelievable scandal. First Coca-Cola lost about $4 billion in market value, players followed Ronaldo’s lead, others mocked it, and Ikea even named christened a water bottle after CR7.
