The USMNT star failed to impress during his short stint at Leeds United.
Weston McKennie has blamed Leeds United’s unstable situation for his underwhelming spell in the Premier League.
Juventus loaned out McKennie to Leeds United in January after his struggles to secure regular playing time during the first half of the season.
The USMNT star went on to make 19 Premier League appearances for the Peacocks but couldn’t help them escape relegation.
“I went there because of Jesse Marsch and then two weeks after I got there, he was sacked,” the Juventues star told the American Dream podcast.
“I had four different managers in six months and I think one of my coaches honestly didn’t know who I was. I’m not saying he should, but if a player is coming in on loan, you should know your squad.
“He put me outside of the box for corner kicks, and in my head I’ve scored 85% of my goals in my career off set-pieces and crosses.”
McKennie has played in all four of Juve’s Serie A matches so far this season, registering one assist. Having collected ten points, the Bianconeri sit second on the league table.
Following a brilliant 3-1 win over Lazio, Juventus prepare to take on Sassuolo next weekend.
