The Gunners have one of the biggest fan bases among the Premier League sides.
Michail Antonio hopes Arsenal win the title race against Manchester City despite having “annoying” fans.
Arsenal hope to win their first league title in 19 years this season, officially reclaiming their spot among the Premier League elite.
The Gunners have undergone a number of difficult phases in recent seasons, struggling for consistency in domestic and European competitions. But the team’s brilliant run of form this season has allowed their fans to look forward to a better future under Mikel Arteta.
“I want Arsenal to win. But, honestly, I don’t like Arsenal fans! I’m going to say it, I don’t like them,” Antonio told the Boot Room.
“I have family members, my agent, my nephews. They are annoying! And they have always been annoying! Arsenal Fan TV! Annoying.”
Arsenal Fan TV has become one of the Premier League‘s biggest fan pages during the club’s inconsistent form in recent seasons. Even rival fans tuned into the channel to see the pain of the hosts and interviewees after Arsenal’s poor displays in the league.
Antonio added: “They are the worst [to have banter with]. They haven’t won the Premier League in years, but it’s like they won it last year!”
