The Hammers boss validates the speculations suggesting the center-back is set to move to the London Stadium.

Kurt Zouma’s transfer from Chelsea to West Ham United is close to completion, David Moyes has revealed

Zouma has been linked with a move away from Chelsea amid reports the Blues are looking to raise funds and make space in their squad for their priority target – Sevilla’s Jules Kounde.

West Ham are understood to be the leading candidate to land him. The France international supposedly fits the bill for the Hammers, who have also been linked with Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic and Marseille’s Duje Caleta-Cara as they look to bolster their backline.

It has been reported the London side are closing in on a €30 million move for the defender, having already reached an agreement over personal terms with him.

“Zouma’s arrival? [It’s] getting close,” Moyes told reporters, as Goal reports.

“We do need a couple more in because we have a lot of games coming up. We have a good team and I like the players we have got.”
