Dortmund suffered a crazy comeback in their Bundesliga clash against Werder Bremen on Saturday.

The Black and Yellows lost 3-2 despite being ahead until the 90th minute of the game.

Julian Brandt opened the scoring for Dortmund just before the half-time whistle. 

The hosts remained in charge of the possession despite Werder increasing the pressure on their backline to clinch the equalizer.

Dortmund seemed to be on their way to an easy win after Raphael Guerreiro doubled their lead in the 77th minute.

But that wasn’t enough to stop Werder from pursuing their well-deserved first goal of the night.

Lee Buchanan brought the guests back into the game by scoring in the 90th minute. Only three minutes later, Niklas Schmidt stunned Dortmund by making it 2-2 with a fantastic header from inside the box.

The Black and Yellows pushed to reclaim their victory, but they soon collapsed under Bremen’s will to complete their comeback.

A precise through ball from Mitchell Weiser found Oliver Burke inside Dortmund’s box before the Scottish star won the game for the guests with a powerful finish.

Having suffered their first defeat of the new season, Dortmund must prepare to face Hertha Berlin in the German capital next weekend.
