Martial passed up Lyon return

Manchester United forward Anthony Martial turned down a chance to rejoin Lyon on the deadline day, reports L’Equipe.

Lyon wanted to seal a loan deal for the Frenchman, who has three years left on his current contract with Man United.

Despite increased competition on the attacking front, however, the 25-year-old opted to stay put at Old Trafford.

Atleti rejected £18m bid for Trippier

Atletico Madrid knocked back an £18 million (€21m) offer from Manchester United for defender Kieran Trippier, per SPORT1.
