Potter aims to sign North American striker to lead Chelsea attack

Chelsea manager Graham Potter has listed Lille striker Jonathan David as a transfer target.

Potter seeks a long-term successor for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. He feels David is an ideal option. The Canada international is only 22 years old and is one of Ligue 1’s most prolific forwards. Atletico Madrid midfielder Rodrigo De Paul is of interest to Juventus.

The Bianconeri seek to reinforce their midfield ranks, prompting interest in De Paul. The 28-year-old Argentina international has made 59 appearances for Atletico since his €35 million transfer from Udinese last year. He is under contract at the LaLiga club until June 2026. Jorginho names his wage demands to Chelsea

Chelsea midfielder Jorginho wants a pay rise of up to £150,000 a week as part of a new contract.

Bayern Munich remain interested in Tottenham striker Harry Kane.
