MLS move for Luiz?  

America could be the next destination for David Luiz, who has been offered to an MLS club by his representatives. 

The 34-year-old defender is yet to renew his contract which is set to run out at the end of the season, and it remains unclear whether he will be offered a contract extension.

A transfer for Luiz, who is on a $140000-a-week wage at the Emirates, however, might be difficult for an MLS side to complete considering his salary demands. [CBS Sports]

Man Utd ready Kane transfer offer

Manchester United are readying a £90 million (€104m) transfer offer for Tottenham striker Harry Kane.

The big-money move is backed by the Glazers, with the Red Devils owners wanting to appease the fans following the protests at Old Trafford.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy remains reluctant to offload the England captain, even more so to a Premier League club. Levy values the player at £170 million (€196.7m), but he could be tempted by United’s offer in the post-COVID era, especially with the north London side needing a squad rebuild. [The Sun]

Simeone “seduced” by Argentine starlet

Atletico Madrid are looking to secure the services of Colon teenager Facundo Farias, with Diego Simeone said to be “seduced” by the midfielder.

The 18-year-old has a €10 million release clause in his contract which will come into play in a few months’ time. [AS]

Messi decides on Barca future

Lionel Messi has agreed to sign a two-year contract extension with Barcelona, reports ESPN Argentina.

The 33-year-old’s future has been a subject of intense speculations lately with his current contract set to expire at the end of the season. He has been linked with a free transfer to Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City.

As it turns out, however, the mercurial Argentine will not leave his boyhood club for free as has decided to commit to fresh terms at Camp Nou.

Marquinhos a target for Real

Real Madrid are considering a move for Paris Saint-Germain defender Marquinhos.

The La Liga champions view the Brazilian center-back as a long-term replacement for Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane, with the pair’s future at the club up in the air in recent weeks.
