Barcelona’s bid for Amrabat rejected
Fiorentina rejected Barcelona’s attempts to sign midfielder Sofyan Amrabat on the transfer deadline day.
Barcelona offered to sign the 26-year-old Morocco international on loan with an obligation to buy, but Fiorentina turned down the proposal. The first bid involved a €4 million loan fee and a €36 million purchase clause. [Diario Sport]
Ziyech’s PSG transfer at risk of collapse
Hakim Ziyech’s loan switch from Chelsea to Paris Saint-Germain is at risk of falling apart.
The two clubs had agreed on a six-month loan for the winger, but couldn’t register the deal in time. PSG allegedly blame Chelsea for not submitting the documents before the French transfer deadline. As it currently stands, Ziyech will have to return to Stamford Bridge. [BBC]
