Manchester United have moved a step closer to signing Wout Weghorst on loan from Burnley in the January transfer window.

Besiktas, the club Weghorst is currently on loan at, have accepted a £2.7 million fee from United. It’s compensation for the striker ending his stay in Turkey early to join the Red Devils. However, the Turkish giants will only sanction the deal once they find a new forward. [The Guardian]
