Barca to rekindle Garcia interest.

FC Barcelona are ready to open talks with Manchester City regarding the transfer of Eric Garcia. The Catalan giants are keen on bringing him in this summer despite being aware that the Spanish center-back’s contract with the Manchester side expires next year.

Garcia, who has decided against renewing his contract at the Etihad, is valued at around €25 million by Man City. [Mundo Deportivo]

Tomori close to joining Everton.

Everton are in advanced stages to sign Chelsea’ Fikayo Tomori on a season-long loan deal. Newcastle United and Rennes, among others, have also expressed their interest in the 22-year old defender.

Tomori enjoyed an impressive breakthrough last season but has fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge due to the arrival of Thiago Silva. [ESPN]

Juve strike deal with Barca for Suarez.

Juventus have finally reached an agreement with FC Barcelona over the transfer of Luis Suarez. The Serie A champions have agreed to pay €3 million upfront. A further €13 million will follow via performance-based incentives, with targets such as Champions League qualification, Juve’s progress in the Champions League, and the Scudetto. [Tancredi Palmeri]

Leeds keen on Draxler move.

Leeds United are pushing to sign Julian Draxler from Paris Saint-Germain. The club are in the process of persuading the German international to move to Elland Road. Draxler, who has 12 months remaining on his PSG contract, however, does not seem interested.

Marcelo Bielsa is looking to significantly strengthen his squad as the team gears up for their first season in the English top-flight in a long time, having already signed Rodrigo from Valencia. [RMC Sport]
