Dortmund plot move for Chelsea star to fill Haaland void
Borussia Dortmund have set their sights on Chelsea forward Timo Werner ahead of the summer transfer window.
No negotiations have taken place, although Dortmund feel Werner fits the bill for what they seek in a forward. The 25-year-old German could end up replacing Erling Haaland, who is on the transfer radar of several top European clubs.
Despite his struggles in the Premier League, Werner is a proven talent in the Bundesliga. He supplied 91 goals and 42 assists in 222 league appearances with Stuttgart and RB Leipzig. [Sky Germany]

14-year-old midfielder Maximo Carrizo has become the youngest player in MLS history.
The teenager signed a contract with New York City FC on his 14th birthday until the 2027 season with an option for 2028.
