Arsenal set to join race for breakout World Cup star

The Gunners have thrown their hat in the ring for Alexis Mac Allister ahead of the January transfer window.

The 23-year-old midfielder followed up an impressive Premier League campaign with Brighton by helping Argentina win a third World Cup title, catching Arsenal and Atletico Madrid’s interest with some dazzling displays in Qatar.
