CR7 helped Al Nassr mount a late comeback in their league game against Abha.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored again for Al Nassr when they defeated Abha 2-1 on Sunday.

A goal from Ahmad Mohamed in the first half put the visitors ahead, with Al Nassr struggling to create serious chances. The hosts pushed hard to get back into the game after the break. But they had to wait until the 78th minute to find the back of the net.

Ronaldo made it 1-1 with a fantastic free kick from 35 yards out, helping Al Nassr mount a late comeback. The Portuguese superstar whipped the ball past Abha’s wall with a precise low shot that resembled some of his best free kicks.

Ronaldo’s goal inspired Al Nassr to double down on their attacks in the final ten minutes. Talisca then converted a penalty in the 86th minute to complete the hosts’ comeback.

The victory keeps Ronaldo and co within touching distance of Al Ittihad, who are leading the Saudi Pro League table.
