Man City star Kyle Walker admits he made bad choices after getting involved in multiple breaches during the lock-down period.

Kyle Walker came under intense scrutiny off the pitch after a series of wrongdoings during lock-down.

His first offence came back in April when he hosted a sex-party that broke the self-isolation at the time.

That was not all. Walker once again broke lock-down rules in May when he visited his sister and his parents in Sheffield.

The 30-year-old apologized at the time and has come out once again to address those incidents. He admits he made bad decisions and should be doing better as a role model to the public.

“I reflect on my decision making. They were bad decisions from me at an important time for the country,” Walker said in an interview with BBC Radio 5.

“I take full responsibility for that but I’m moving on now.

“Me and the boss [England manager Gareth Southgate] spoke after the lockdown incidents and, you know, he assured me that we all make mistakes.

“Obviously, mine were on a bigger scale and gets magnified with me being in the public eye and a role model, so I have to take full responsibility for my actions, which I have done.”

Walker was called up to the England squad for their Nations League games and has the chance of reaching a milestone. Currently at 47 caps, the Manchester City star is just three games away from half a century appearances for England.

“At 19 when I first joined in the England team, I’d have said no chance,” Walker, who currently has 47 caps, said of reaching the milestone.

“But now I think it’s possible. Obviously I’ve only got three more caps to get to that and that’s a big goal of mine.”
