Several elite clubs across Europe are keeping tabs on the Serbia International, but he prefers to stay in Italy.

Dusan Vlahovic has been among the most-heard names in the current transfer window. The Fiorentina striker has established himself as one of the most promising strikers in Europe in the past two seasons.

Several clubs have shown interest in signing Vlahovic in recent months, with Arsenal reportedly being his main suitor. However, the 21-year-old might have already decided on his future club.

According to 90min, Vlahovic has informed Fiorentina about his interest in joining Juventus.

This is bad news to Fiorentina, who have a history of losing their best players to Juventus. The club have already made it clear they are not keen to sell their star striker to the Turin side.

Vlahovic’s contract at Fiorentina runs until the summer of 2023. However, the club will most likely sell the Serbian before the next winter to get a higher transfer fee. However, the new twist will make the transfer more complicated since it brings the conflict between Fiorentina and Juventus to the table.

The most recent deal between the two sides saw Federico Chiesa join Juventus for a fee of less than £50m. After the transfer, Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso publicly accused Juventus of ‘stealing’ their prize asset.

Earlier this week, Fiorentina chief Joe Barone was asked whether Vlahovic will join a new club this month.

“I have talked a lot about Vlahovic in these days, Fiorentina has not received offers up to now, but we want clarity,” he said.

“Our market is not closed, we are always attentive to all movements in Italy and Europe. Let’s see what can happen. From Vlahovic and his entourage we want clarity. “
