Despite his young age, the Brazil international has firmly established himself as a regular in Zinedine Zidane’s line-up.

Vinicius Junior desires “playing a lot of games” in the Real Madrid colors as he eyes “winning a lot of trophies” and “bringing a lot of joy for the fans”.

Vinicius has been on Real Madrid’s books for three years now, having initially joined their reserve team upon his arrival from Brazilian side Flamengo in 2018.

The 20-year-old has gone from strength to strength to become a crucial part of the Los Blancos team, making 111 appearances so far. He has featured in all but three of his side’s La Liga matches this season, although his goal contribution numbers are not yet up to the mark.

A La Liga title, a Supercopa de Espana title, and a FIFA Club World Cup trophy are his achievements with the Spanish club so far, and the Brazil international is keen on adding more stars to his resume.

“To keep on playing for Real Madrid, playing a lot of games,” Vinicius opened up on his future ambitions with Real Madrid, speaking to UEFA’s official website.

“I’ve already played for the club [over 100] times which is a lot for a 20-year-old; very few players have achieved this

“And I want to keep on winning a lot of trophies, scoring a lot of goals and bringing a lot of joy for the fans here, who follow us – and for my family as well.”
