Vinicius Junior can’t wait to see Mbappe at Real Madrid

The France international has been linked with a move to Real Madrid for the past three years.

Real Madrid players are all eager to play alongside Kylian Mbappe, according to Vinicius Junior.

The Blancos’ possible move for the Frenchman has been circulating in the media for the past three years. At some point, it seemed the striker was on the verge of completing a move to Santiago Bernabeu but decided to extend his stay at Paris Saint-Germain.

Reports of Mbappe’s possible move to Real Madrid have recently intensified as the 24-year-old enters the final months of his PSG contract.

Asked about the prospect of becoming teammates with Mbappe, Vinicius told L’Equipe: “Here, everyone wants to play with Kylian. I hope it will happen one day. He is one of the best players, perhaps the best of all today. He has a level of his own!”

Since joining Real Madrid from Flamengo in 2018, Vinicius has established himself as a cornerstone of Blancos’ attacking line. The Brazil international’s performances have reportedly convinced the club to extend his contract until 2017. But Vinicius vows to return to Flamengo in the future.

“I think I could stay at Real Madrid my whole career, but the club of my life is Flamengo,” the Real Madrid winger added. “I promised my father I’d go back there one day. I’ve got to keep that promise.”
