Vinicius Jr believes that the Italian boss Carlo Ancelotti is responsible for his fine form at Real Madrid during this campaign.

Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr insists that boss Carlo Ancelotti has had a significant impact on the players at Real Madrid since his arrival.

Following a win over Elche last weekend, Blancos strive to get to the top of the table as they land in the second spot behind Real Sociedad with one game in hand.

The Italian boss made his second appearance at Santiago Bernabeu during the summer after replacing Zinedine Zidane. Emphatically, Ancelotti has previously won two Champions League titles with the Spanish team.

Despite facing some troubles over the course of this season, the manager has been able to ignite Vinicius Junior’s red-hot form.

The Brazilian, who struggled to mark his presence under Zidane, has managed to bag nine goals and five assists in 14 outings this campaign.

The 21-year-old talked about Ancelotti’s influence on TNT Sports Brasil: “I have worked a lot. And I have the confidence of the coach, the staff, the players, the president and all of the club.

“I am happy because each day I help the club more.

“Ancelotti gives us all confidence… me, Rodrygo, Camavinga, Fede (Valverde). He knows what we need to be able to help the club as quickly as possible.

“I have learned a lot from all the coaches and with Ancelotti, I am learning a lot.”
