The president of the Yellow Submarines invites the suitors of their 24-year-old academy product to make a move for him.

Villarreal president Fernando Roig suggests the club are open to offers for Pau Torres ahead of the summer transfer window.

Playing a key role in their Europa League success, Torres has enjoyed a rapid rise to prominence this season following a series of strong performances at the back for Villarreal.

The Spaniard’s emergence has been noticed by a few clubs in foreign lands, with interest reported from Premier League rivals Manchester United and Manchester City. Real Madrid are also linked with his signing, with both Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane’s future up in the air.

The center-back has three years remaining on his contract with his local club but those seriously interested in securing his services this summer could do so by triggering his €65 million release clause. And should it happen, Roig insists the club will not stand in the player’s way.

“If they arrive with the money and the player wants to move, but there must be an agreement between all three parties,” the Villarreal president told El Transistor.
