Wolverhampton Wanderers released a video montage where they make fun of Arsenal’s goalkeeper Bernd Leno.
It’s not an easy day to be a Gooner after Arsenal lost a rollercoaster-like game against Wolves. Mikel Arteta’s side ended up with nine men on the pitch after his players received a total of two red cards. In fact, the Spanish manager even suggested the club would submit an appeal after David Luiz was controversially sent-off.
However, there’s no possible way around Bernd Leno’s red card. The goalkeeper ran out of the box and stroke the ball with his hand in an attempt to stop Adama Traore’s run.
Naturally, the world of social media blew up after the situation happened and there were many humorous reactions. One of the best came from Wolverhampton Wanderers’ TikTok account. The club released a video montage where they make fun of Leno’s challenge.
Moreover, the edit is accompanied by a version of the song ‘The Final Countdown’ titled ‘The Final Braincell’. This was a clear shot at Leno’s poor judgment and couldn’t have pleased Gooners at all. On the other hand, other Premier League fans rejoiced after watching the clip and even made it go viral.
Check-out below the video that may turned club relations between Wolves and Arsenal a bit sour.
