Nat Phillips executed an ankle-breaking skill on Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Franck Kessie inside Liverpool’s penalty box on Tuesday night.

Nat Phillips pulled out an incredible Cruff turn to embarrass Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Franck Kessie in Liverpool’s victory over AC Milan.

Liverpool stepped into history to become the ninth club to win all the matches of the group stage in the Champions League after a 2-1 win at San Siro.

Tuesday night saw Mohamed Salah and Divock Origi net the goals for the Reds, however, Phillips stole the show for the visiting supporters.

Rossoneri switched on their pressing game after conceding the second goal in the 55th minute. One attack saw Ibrahimovic passing to Rade Krunic, but the latter could not control the ball and it was left for Phillips to pick.

The Liverpool defender was facing his own goal as Ibra and Kessi both dashed forward to get the ball back. Regardless of the pressure, the 24-year-old calmly executed a heel flick which left the Milan pair dismantled.

Following their win, Phillips was questioned about his special moment in the post-match interview. He said: “Yeah, it was. I’ll have to watch it back when I get the chance!

“There was no real thought process behind it, to be honest. It was just instinct and thankfully it paid off. I’m looking forward to watching that back.”
