New Manchester United signing Edinson Cavani has trained with the club for the first time since his summer move to Old Trafford.

After a long wait, Edinson Cavani has completed his quarantine period and is now available for selection for Manchester United.

The ex-PSG star was one of the four players to secure deals at United on transfer deadline day.

Cavani signed a one-year deal following his release from Paris Saint-Germain earlier in the summer.

Despite signing for the club on October 5, the veteran striker was unable to make his debut for the club in Saturday’s 4-1 victory over Newcastle.

Cavani had to undergo a two-week period of isolation after arriving in the UK due to the country’s coronavirus protocols.

United take on PSG in a crunch clash on Tuesday night and they have a boost with the news that the Uruguayan would be available for selection.

The Red Devils posted a video on their Twitter account that showed Cavani looking all smiles in training.

It would be interesting to see if Ole starts the veteran against his former side and how he would react to that.
