Borussia Dortmund’s youth prove they are after the title with a convincing victory against Monchengladbach. Haaland was superb again.

It appears Borussia Dortmund won’t hesitate to fight for trophies this season against Bayern Munich, they proved it vs Monchengladbach this evening. The Black & Yellow squad has several young talents who are considered the future in football for the next decade.

They not only have established stars such as Jadon Sancho or Erling Haaland, but they also have even younger players coming up. Tonight they lined up Jude Bellingham alongside those two and Giovanny Reyna. Both of these players are still under 18 years of age and they are impressive talents.

Precisely these two players combined in the first goal of the evening to kick things off for Dortmund as Giovanni Reyna scored his first-ever Bundesliga goal. Bellingham was brilliant with an assist between the lines at lightning speed. It’s clear the German club knows how to handle future stars to perfection. But the major showman was about to make his triumphant entrance.

Haaland returns better than before.

He already gave us a glimpse of what he has in store for us this season with Norway. Erling Haaland plans to take over the world with his football and the first step is to dominate in his first full Bundesliga season. What better way to do it than with a brace against Borussia Monchengladbach on his debut night?

Gio Reyna completed his stellar performance by getting knocked down inside the box and getting a penalty for Dortmund. But the man responsible for taking the shot was none other than Haaland. Easy task for the ‘Machine’. The second goal was something else though. A textbook counter-attack that proved this kid might not be human.

It’s incredible how he gets past anybody with ease when he sprints. Jadon Sancho did a brilliant job on the assist after that box-to-box run. A 3-0 result that pales in comparison with Bayern’s 8-0 victory on Friday. But it’s still a promising debut for Dortmund in this new Bundesliga campaign.
