Cameras were able to film the shocking moment when one of Atletico Madrid’s forwards fainted during the most recent training session.
Atletico Madrid players tend to get into some gruesome training sessions that deeply affected one of their forwards today. ‘Profe’ Ortega is famous for his impressive sessions where he gets all the players to their limit. There are sometimes when some footballers can’t take the workout regimen and throw up or even faint sometimes. However, it’s been a while since one of them fainted and there was a camera to capture the moment.
Moussa Dembele is perhaps the player with the least experience in these gruesome training methods from Ortega. After the full session today, all players were making the final stretching moment before leaving the training grounds. Everything seemed normal until the shocking moment happened.
Dembele needed reanimation techniques.
As the camera was panning on all the players, it was evident when Moussa Dembele fell on the ground after fainting. All players immediately called the doctors and some of them went to get a stretcher. After a few moments of reanimation, the Colchonero players seemed to recover from the worrying moment. Once the crisis was averted, the club told the media that the player only suffered mild fainting due to the hard workout they just finished.
There is even a video of Dembele leaving the training facility and waving at the cameras. The bottom line of that the striker is okay and no major issues were found. Although he had to leave the session a little early, he will be back tomorrow to see how he evolves. Regardless of the good news of his recovery, watching the video is quite shocking and viewer discretion is advised.
