Wolves forward Adama Traore opened the score on this Friday night’s FA Cup tie with an out-of-the-box screamer.

Wolverhampton Wanderers are through to the next round of the FA Cup after winning 1-0 against Crystal Palace this Friday night. Wolves sealed the win around the 35th-minute mark with an incredible goal from Adama Traore.

Ruben Neves passed the ball to the highly-rated winger, who took Nathan Ake out of the way like it was child’s play. The 24-year-old showed a piece of skill using his backheel which had to remind fans of Ronaldo’s magic. Traore then armed his weaker left-foot and hit the net with an incredibly powerful shot from outside the box. Crystal Palace’s Jack Butland managed to put his hand on the ball before it hit the net, but there was no stopping this Spanish rocket strike.

Adama Traore scored his first goal of the season this Friday night after 19 matches with Wolverhampton. In fact, the forward doesn’t score that regularly and spent 11 months without hitting the net. Therefore, he received some well-deserved praise from his manager.

“Special goal from a special player,” said Nuno Espirito Santo. “He’s been trying [to score with his left foot] a lot and he has a big will to improve.”

Watch below the moment when the Spanish ‘beast’ scores his thunder goal to secure the win for Wolves.
