Arturo Vidal has been told to leave Barcelona by Ronald Koeman and the combative midfielder wants to reunited with Andrea Pirlo in Turin

The turmoil in Barcelona reached Arturo Vidal as he was told to pack his bags and find new suitors. The Chilean is in demand, with both Inter Milan and Juventus linked with his signature.

It was reported that Vidal favors a move to Turin over Milan, and the Santiago native had fanned the flames. He hailed how Andrea Pirlo is now overseeing proceedings at the Allianz Stadium.

The 33-year-old was in awe of Pirlo, praising him for his professional and personal attributes.

“It’s spectacular that he [Pirlo] has become the coach of Juventus,” Football Italia quoted Vidal.

“If he was incredible as a player, imagine him as a coach. He has a real vision of the sport that very few have ever had in football, so I think he can do really well.

“Pirlo is also a wonderful person too, so I can only imagine he’ll be a great coach. We spent four years together and won the Scudetto four times, so if he were to call me, I’d be happy.”

Vidal is not leaving any stones unturned. He also took time to praise Antonio Conte, his manager at Juvetus. He hailed Conte as the best tactician he has worked under.

“Conte is like a machine, he is tactically the best. As for my future, I’m relaxed, we’ll see what happens. I am very fond of Barcelona, but we’ll see.”
