The Nigerian star is one of the most in-demand strikers in Europe.

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has put a €200m price tag on Victor Osimhen.

Osimhen has developed into one of the best Serie A strikers since joining Napoli in September 2020. Last season, the Nigeria international played a key role in Napoli’s Scudetto-winning run, registering 26 league goals.

Osimhen’s performances have attracted interest from a number of elite European sides. But De Laurentiis believes there’s only one club that could afford the 24-year-old.

Speaking to Mediaset, the Napoli president said“The only club that could afford Victor Osimhen is Paris Saint-Germain.

“If Nasser Al Khelaifi wants to send in a bid around €200m… we wait and we see what happens.”

He added: “I personally think that Victor will stay here.”

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, PSG are reportedly considering Osimhen as their primary target to replace Kylian Mbappe. The French giants have publicly asked Mbappe to leave the club if he doesn’t intend to renew his contract ahead of the next season.

Bayern Munich have also shown interest in signing Osimhen amid their ongoing attempts to sign Harry Kane. However, widespread reports in German media claim the Bavarians won’t spend more than €200m on a new No.9.
