The Nigeria international’s incredible form this season has reportedly raised interest from several clubs, including Man Utd and Chelsea.
Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has admitted he dreams of playing in the Premier League one day.
The 24-year-old has been a leading figure behind Napoli’s Serie A title charge, scoring 19 goals in only 21 games. His exploits have helped the club move 15 points clear of second place Inter Milan at the top of the league standings.
Various reports have linked Osimhen with a summer transfer to the Premier League. Manchester United and Chelsea are said to be among his potential suitors.
“I think playing in one of the top five leagues in the world is an amazing feeling for me,” Osimhen said after winning ‘Best Foreign Athlete of the Year’ from the Italian Foreign Press Association.
“A lot of people worldwide consider the Premier League as the best and the strongest league but now I’m in one of the best leagues in the world which is the Italian Serie A.
“I’m working so hard to make sure that I achieve my dream of playing in the Premier League someday but as I said, it’s a process and I just want to keep on this momentum and continue to do well.”
Osimhen will hope to carry on his red-hot form this Saturday when Napoli play Atalanta at home in Serie A.
