Marco Verratti maintains that he has given no consideration whatsoever to the thought of departing the French capital for pastures new.

Paris Saint-Germain continued their dominance in France last season completing a clean sweep of all four domestic titles, with Marco Verratti being a lynchpin in the team.

Verratti, with his capability to play with either foot, creativity, technical skills, attacking prowess, and defensive ability, is recognized as one of the most complete midfielders in all of Europe.

With him bringing so much on the table, it is no surprise that the 27-year old has often been found on the recruitment radars of numerous other high-profile teams.

The Italy international has never featured in the Serie A, having headed directly from Serie B to Ligue 1, and it seems he doesn’t even have plans to return to his homeland or move anywhere else anytime soon.

“The thing I like the most is playing football and I’m doing it for a team that plays for big targets,” Verratti told a press conference, as per Goal.

“In these eight years, I have played with great champions and it hasn’t crossed my mind to leave PSG. I’m fine there and then we’ll see in the future.”
