The Frenchman remains an indispensable figure in the Los Blancos line-up but could follow Zinedine Zidane out of the club.

Raphael Varane remains tight-lipped on his future amid reports linking him with a switch from Real Madrid to Manchester United.

Varane is tipped to take on a new challenge after winning 18 major honors, including three La Liga titles and four Champions League trophies, with Real Madrid.

The center-back has also reportedly turned down a contract extension offer despite a little over a year remaining on his current deal with the Spanish giants.

It has been reported that Manchester United are smacking their lips to secure the services of the World Cup winner. Keen on bolstering his backline this summer, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is said to be in search of a new partner for captain Harry Maguire.

“This is not the time to talk about my future, I am focused on the selection, on this Euro, it is normal and logical to ask the question and for my part it is normal and logical to focus on the upcoming deadlines,” Varane told reporters when asked about the rumors, via Goal.

“We are all human beings. We can think about it. As for my personal case, I am focused on the objectives that we have in the France team, it is not a subject that I will discuss every day in my room at Clairefontaine.

“I am focused on my goal, and now is not the time to discuss it. If I have to talk about it, it will be directly with the people concerned.”
