During a recent interview, Jorge Valdano revealed if he would ever trade Vinicius Junior for Kylian Mbappe in the transfer window.
There has been a proposed Vinicius for Mbappe trade between Vinicius and Mbappe for next summer. But for many PSG supporters, this is not even fair. If you ask anybody from Madrid, they would do it in a heartbeat. Jorge Valdano is one of those people, he wouldn’t hesitate to make this trade happen between these two clubs. We all know Kylian has been pushing for his exit from PSG for a while and this summer might be the time to do it.
If he had the chance to choose, the former player would love to make this happen. During an interview with Onda Cero’s El Transistor, this is what Jorge Valdano said about this sensational trade: “Would I put him into the deal? If the swap was that [Mbappe for Vinicius], then yes,” Valdano said to El Transistor. “Not only would it be to sign one of the most attractive and powerful players in the world, but it’s also to sign someone of a similar age and in the same position.”
Vinicius keeps improving.
Even though he is still considered an underdeveloped player, Vinicius Junior always generates something interesting during football matches for Real Madrid. Zinedine Zidane always gets something new out of him in difficult moments for the squad. Although he still hasn’t been able to score a proper goal where he takes all the credit.
There is no doubt that Vini is arguably one of the most important offensive players Real Madrid has at the moment. If PSG are truly serious about getting Vinicius in a trade for Mbappe, they would be getting a player with an impressive amount of potential. But make no mistake, Mbappe is still a far better player than Vinicius right now. The difference in quality is not even comparable.
