During a recent interview with Gazzetta dello Sport, Usain Bolt explained why Cristiano Ronaldo is a better player than Lionel Messi.

The eternal debate between Cristiano Ronaldo and Leo Messi has been taken by none other than Usain Bolt. That’s right, the fastest man alive decided to offer his opinion about the two best players in football history. Keep in mind that the Jamaican legend is already a Manchester United fan since he was a child. He has pictures with Cristiano Ronaldo and he never hesitates to praise the Portuguese star.

Although he assures he supports Argentina, there is no doubt where his allegiances are. For Bolt, there is only one player who can be considered the best out of these two. But once you read about his reasoning behind the pick, you might understand better and maybe even side with him. Usain Bolt does make a lot of sense when he speaks about the most burning debate in football history.

It’s all in the level of success.

In a recent interview with Gazzetta dello Sport, Usain Bolt spoke about his unusual passion for football. He also discussed the small adventure he had playing the sport as a professional. But the most important subject came when they asked him about the rivalry. In his case, there is no doubt who is the best player: “It’s hard to choose for me because I support Argentina, but I am also a big Cristiano Ronaldo fan,” Bolt said.

“I admire Ronaldo since he played at Manchester United as I support the Red Devils. I think he has something more than Messi because he’s proved himself in so many leagues. So I pick Ronaldo. However, there are many interesting young players out there. Mbappé, for example. I am looking forward to knowing what the future has in store for these young talents.”
