Germany pulled off an impressive comeback to get back to winning ways in the USA.

Germany defeated USA 3-1 in their friendly game on Saturday. Julian Nagelsmann starts his job as the new Mannschaft manager with a promising win.

What happened?

Germany pushed for the first goal as soon as they game started but USMNT got ahead through Christian Pulisic’s stunning shot from behind the box in the 27th minute.

The goal motivated Germany to take a more fearless approach to their attacks. The visitors’ efforts paid off when Ilkay Gundogan made it 1-1 in the 39th minute and got them back into the game.

Die Mannschaft looked much better after the break as they completely dominated the match at Rentschler Field. Niclas Fullkrug put the visitors ahead in the 58th minute, before setting up Jamal Musiala for his side’s third goal only three minutes later.

Germany found more opportunities to increase their lead but settled for the 3-1 win.
