Following another injury setback for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, details have emerged on when he could likely make a return to the pitch.
In what would come as good news for Zlatan Ibrahimovic and his employers, the big Swede is not expected to be ruled out for long after sustaining his latest injury.
The 39-year-old could only play for 66 minutes as he suffered a knee injury while challenging for the ball. It did not affect Milan’s game plan though as they strolled to a 3-0 win over Juventus.
Speaking after the game, Milan boss Stefano Pioli said the injury was not too serious and latest reports tally with those comments as well.
As per Sky Sport Italia, Ibrahimovic will have his injured knee checked tomorrow and he could miss two of the remaining three games of the season.
The Swede is likely to miss the upcoming games against Cagliari and Torino, but could recover in time to face Atalanta in the last match of the season.
On a bigger scale, it means Ibrahimovic is not in danger of missing out on the Euros.
