The Blues have shown significant improvement in their recent displays.

Paul Merson has warned Arsenal not to underestimate Chelsea in their upcoming Premier League game.

The two London giants will meet in the first matchday after the international break. Arsenal go into the game as clear favourites after a perfect start to the new Premier League season. However, Merson believes Chelsea have enough quality to surprise their city rivals.

“Arsenal come to Stamford Bridge in a couple of weeks, and they will have a go at Chelsea, so it will be interesting,” he told Sky Sports (via football.london).

“Where Chelsea are in the league, teams will not want to play them as on their day, they can beat anybody and when Raheem Sterling is playing like he did at Burnley, then he is unplayable.”

Sterling has found a solid start to the new season, scoring three goals and providing an assist in eight league appearances for the Blues.

The England international has played a crucial role in Chelsea’s recent run of victories. After a Carabao Cup victory against Brighton, Mauricio Pochettino’s men defeated Fulham and Burnley as they reached the 11th spot on the league table.

Chelsea have a tough schedule ahead of them after the international break. The Blues will take on Arsenal, Tottenham, Manchester City, Newcastle, Brighton, and Manchester United from October 21 to December 6.
