An interesting Nations League match-up awaits as one side will look to keep their winning run while the other to end their losing streak.

Spain will be aiming to strengthen their grip on the top spot in Group 4 of League A when they take to the pitch at NSC Olimpiyskiy on Tuesday evening. They are currently enjoying a two-point lead in their group, having collected seven points from three games.

Ukraine, on the other hand, who currently sit third in Group 4, can only use the remainder of the tournament to prepare for next summer’s Euro 2020.

Ukraine vs Spain Form:

Ukraine put up a noteworthy performance in their last match against Germany, albeit it ended in a defeat for them. They also suffered a heavy 7-1 defeat at the hands of France last week.

Much of Andriy Shevchenko’s side poor recent form can be justified by the fact that they have been forced to play with a makeshift line-up lately with a high number of injuries and coronavirus cases in the squad.

Sergio Ramos and co. are unbeaten in their last 15 matches across all competitions. Their most recent victory came against Switzerland, as they narrowly edged past with a 1-0 scoreline.

Apart from their winning run, La Roja’s away goalscoring form would also be shivering news for their upcoming opponents. They have scored more than two goals in 23 of their last 27 away matches.

Ukraine vs Spain Head-to-head:

The Yellow and Blues have lost each of their last five meetings in all competitions with the Red Fury. Their most recent defeat came last month as they were thoroughly beaten 4-0 in matchday 2.

Ukraine vs Spain Team News:

Goalkeepers Andriy Pyatov, Andriy Lunin and Yuriy Pankiv are all out with after testing positive for COVID-19. Heorhiy Bushchan is the sole goalkeeping option for Shevchenko.
Additionally, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Mykola Matviyenko, Yevhen Konoplyanka, Taras Stepanenko are also out injured.

Enrique too has his own fair share of shortages in personnel in his squad. Coronavirus-infected Fabian Ruiz has been ruled out of Tuesday’s clash while Thiago Alcantara and Dani Carvajal are also sidelined.
