The Three Lions were held to a draw as their winning streak in the Euro 2024 qualifying campaign ended.

England drew 1-1 with Ukraine in their Euro 2024 qualifier on Saturday. The Three Lions were not able to find the match-winner despite dominating the game at the Wroclaw Stadium.

What happened?

England struggled to find their feet in the game as Ukraine made a number of attempts to score on the counter-attacks. The hosts finally went ahead through Oleksandr Zinchenko’s goal in the 26th minute.

The Three Lions, however, quickly got back into the game as they increased the pressure on Ukraine’s backline. Following an incredible through ball from Harry Kane, Kyle Walker rushed into Ukraine’s six-yard box before making it 1-1 with a precise finish.

England pushed hard to find the match-winning goal during the second half. But Ukraine maintained their defensive integrity as they secured a point from their fourth match in Group C.
