European teams have discovered their group-stage opponents for the tournament’s next edition.
The final draw for the 2024-25 UEFA Nations League took place at Maison de la Mutualite in Paris on Thursday. The tournament’s 48 participating teams discovered their opponents, with Group A2 promising a number of high-profile matchups.
European champions Italy are pitted against Belgium, France, and Israel in the Nations League’s “Group of Death”. The Azzurri, who secured a hard-fought place in the next year’s European Championship in November, hope to regain their best form before the tournament’s new edition.
Another set of exciting group-stage matches is set to be played in Group A1, where Croatia, Portugal, Poland and Scotland face off for two places in the knockout stage.
