The group stage of the current season of the UEFA Champions League is coming to an end and some of the quartets have already determined the clubs that will play in the playoffs.

In 2023, the participants will be divided into the strongest 16 teams and will start their journey to the 1/8 finals. We will determine the main contenders for victory in the strongest.

European international club tournament in Europe. The starting stage of the competition is coming to an end and the most interesting things are ahead of the fans.

Next, consider the main contenders for the “eared cup”. Bets on this event are accepted in Aviator Mostbet.

Manchester city

The Sky Blues are the top favorites to win the UEFA Champions League, according to bookies. The B quartet of Josep Guardiola’s guys went through without any problems and secured their way out ahead of time. Borussia Dortmund, Sevilla and Copenhagen managed to get ahead of the “citizens”.

The composition of the Manchester club was strengthened by a powerful striker from Norway, Erling Haaland. The Blues demonstrate excellent results not only in the domestic but also in the international arena. So, if the brainchild of City Football Group continues to perform in the same vein, then Ilkay Gundogan and partners will be able to win the coveted trophy.

Bavaria

Wards of Julian Nagelsmann started in one of the most difficult groups, but won it ahead of schedule. FC Hollywood managed to get ahead of Inter Milan, Catalan Barcelona and Victoria Pilsen. After five starting rounds, the Bavarians had 15 points. At the same time, they scored 16 goals against the opponents, and conceded only two. The Munich club traditionally goes into relegation battles. The last time the Reds won the Champions League was in 2020.

“Star of the South” has a strong line-up and is absolutely rightly considered one of the main contenders for victory in the tournament. There are many difficult opponents ahead, but Manuel Neuer and partners have never been afraid of serious challenges.

PSG

The French team this season is not a star coach, who produces good results on all fronts. The Parisian club, led by Christophe Galtier, secured early access to the Champions League playoffs in a quartet with Benfica, Juventus and Maccabi Haifa.

In recent years, the Red-Blues have confidently passed the group stage of the Champions League, but in the relegation matches they did not look so convincing. In the current draw, the Parisians have probably the most powerful squad in the last ten years. If Marquinhos and company continue to fulfill the coaching plan, then they may well aim to win the most prestigious club tournament in Europe.

Liverpool

Many were surprised by the Scousers’ poor start to the season, but Jurgen Klopp’s guys are able to achieve their goals. In the group they missed Napoli ahead of them, but an impressive winning streak showed that in the international arena the British are competitors and are able to go far.

The teamwork of the Reds is not the same as it was a few seasons ago, but the roster has been updated, only gaining momentum. Bookmakers believe that Merseysiders have more chances for a trophy than Real Madrid, and this is no accident. Jordan Henderson and partners could step up in 2023 and aim for another international trophy.

Real Madrid

The Madrid team closes the top five contenders for victory in the tournament. At the same time, the most titled club in Europe in terms of Champions League wins may well beat its own record. Karim Benzema recently deservedly received the Golden Ball and does not plan to rest on his laurels. The main goalkeeper of the creamy Thibaut Courtois returned to action, and the defense became even stronger. In addition, Luka Modric and Toni Kroos are experiencing a second youth and will be able to help the “whites” aim at an international trophy.

“Creamy” is underestimated, but it is dangerous. Ancelotti is an experienced coach, able to squeeze the maximum out of his players.

Our forecast

The UEFA Champions League is one of the most difficult tournaments to predict in terms of the winner. Given the current state of the clubs, one would expect Manchester City to win a debut title. At the same time, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid can disrupt the plans of the “citizens”, because they also demonstrate excellent form. PSG and Liverpool are competitive teams, but they are unstable and they are unlikely to reach the semi-finals.
