Barcelona defenders Clement Lenglet and Dani Alves have both tested positive for coronavirus.
The club announced on Monday night that the duo had returned positive results for the disease, assuring they are ‘both feeling in good health and are self-isolated at home.’.
Naturally, Lenglet and Alves won’t report to the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper on Tuesday evening at 18:00 (CET) for Barcelona’s first training session since the Christmas break ended.

Alves assures fans he is fine
According to Mundo Deportivo, Lenglet tested positive for COVID-19 on holiday in France. The Frenchman has had the virus for around three days.
Alves, meanwhile, took to Instagram stories to assure his followers that he is fine after his test results, joking: “I am so positive, so positive, that even for Covid I give positive”.
The 38-year-old Brazilian, who rejoined Barcelona earlier this season as a free agent, will be eligible to make his second debut for the club at the weekend, although he may have to wait a little longer now.
Xavi Hernandez’s side return to action this Sunday away to Mallorca in La Liga for their first match of 2022.
