PSG could sell 10 players to sign Messi

Paris Saint-Germain could reportedly make around 10 players available for a transfer in order to sign Lionel Messi.

A once in a lifetime opportunity to sign the six-time Ballon d’Or winner for free has arrived on PSG’s doorstep. The Parisians have already sent a contract offer to Messi’s camp. They’re now just waiting while the player reviews the deal with his father/agent, Jorge, and his lawyers.

Signing Messi, however, means PSG may need to lower their wage bill. This could lead to player exits. The most likely ones to leave are Idrissa Gueye, Mauro Icardi, Ander Herrera, Abdou Diallo, Thilo Kehrer, and Rafinha Alcantara. [The Athletic]

Lukaku has medical in Milan ahead of Chelsea move

Romelu Lukaku completed the first part of his medical on Monday at the Colombus Clinic in Milan ahead of his return to Chelsea.

The Belgian is set to become a Blue again for a club-record transfer fee of €115 million. He has traveled to his agent’s headquarters in Monaco to complete all the necessary paperwork.

Once everything is done, Lukaku will head out to London to sign his Chelsea contract. [Fabrizio Romano]
