Solskjaer handed 12 months to sign ‘dream transfer target’
The Manchester United boss has around 12 months to convince Erling Haaland into a transfer to Old Trafford.
Despite the possibility of selling Haaland for an absurd amount of cash this summer, Borussia Dortmund are reluctant to do a deal. The German giants have already profited from Jadon Sancho’s €85 million sale to United. Therefore, they would rather hold on to their star striker.
This stance means Haaland won’t be available until next summer, which is when his €75m release clause comes into effect. So Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has a year to convince his fellow Norwegian that United is a club that can compete for domestic titles and the Champions League. [Manchester Evening News]

Juventus complete a deal for Kaio Jorge
Santos have confirmed an agreement with Juventus for the transfer of Kaio Jorge.
According to reports from Brazil, the Bianconeri will pay Santos €3 million and an additional €1 million in performance-related bonuses. The Brazilian club will also get 5% of any future sale for Kaio.
The 19-year-old forward, who has scored 17 times in 84 games for Santos, rejected a move to Benfica recently. [Santos website]
