Mustafi rejects Arsenal renewal.

Arsenal’s Shkodran Mustafi has turned down the offer of a contract extension with the club. The 28-year old defender’s current deal expires at the end of the season.

Mustafi wants to walk out the exit door at the Emirates following the fulfillment of his contract and has already informed the club of his plans. [Football London]

Milan interested in Icardi.

Paris Saint-Germain’s Mauro Icardi is a subject of transfer interest for AC Milan. The Serie A side want a partner upfront for Zlatan Ibrahimovic and view the Argentine striker as a viable option. [A Bola]

Icardi joined PSG on a permanent move from Inter Milan only this summer and has contract until 2024 with the French champions.

Spurs set sights on Alena.

Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho is keen on bringing in Carles Alena from FC Barcelona. Mourinho, with the intention of reinforcing his midfield, wants the club to try and sign the 22-year-old midfielder at the beginning of 2021.

Spurs will have to shed out in the region of €18 million to secure the services of the La Masia graduate, but they would find it hard to convince Barca to let go of Alena. [Don Balon]

Haaland’s release clause details revealed.

Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland has a buyout clause of €75 million on his contract which will become functional by June 2022. The BVB board do not have any intention of selling their prized asset the next year or in the next summer. [Fabrizio Romano]
