Barcelona name their asking price for Frenkie de Jong
The Blaugrana would consider transfer offers of around €70 million for midfielder Frenkie de Jong.
Reports have linked De Jong, who joined Barcelona from Ajax in 2019, with Manchester United following Erik ten Hag’s appointment as manager. The pair worked together at Ajax. [El Chiringuito – in Spanish]
Real Madrid close in on Rudiger deal
Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger has a verbal agreement with Real Madrid over a lucrative four-year contract.
The 29-year-old German plans to leave Premier League side Chelsea on a free transfer at the end of his contract this summer.
Rudiger held positive talks with Real Madrid at the weekend. An official deal is not done yet, but it’s getting closer. He will earn at least £200,000 a week at the Spanish capital. [Guardian]

Mbappe sets date for transfer announcement
Kylian Mbappe won’t make an announcement on his future until Paris Saint-Germain’s final game of the season against Metz on May 21.
The 23-year-old striker is out of contract in the summer. PSG hope to retain him, but Real Madrid are confident. The Spanish giants already have a deal in place to sign Mbappe. [Marca]
Gnabry to join Real Madrid?
Real Madrid are keeping tabs on Bayern Munich winger Serge Gnabry.
The 26-year-old German’s contract ends in 2023. Bayern don’t want to lose him on a free transfer, as has they have with Niklas Sule. However, Gnabry remains undecided on his future. Mahrez draws interest from Barcelona
Barcelona are considering a transfer bid for Manchester City winger Riyad Mahrez.
The 31-year-old Algerian’s contract at Man City runs out in the summer of 2023. AC Milan are seriously interested. Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain have also expressed an interest. [Foot Mercato – in French]
