Solskjaer not ready to let Lingard leave.

Jesse Lingard will not be allowed to quit Manchester United in the January transfer window.

Struggling for minutes having made just three appearances this season, the 28-year-old midfielder is desperate for a move away. He has been linked with the likes of  Inter Milan, Nice, Tottenham Hotspur, Sheffield United, and West Ham.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, however, is not ready to authorize a move away for Lingard amid this season’s congested fixture schedule. [ESPN]

Alli ‘confident’ of joining PSG.

Dele Alli remains ‘confident’ that he can jump ships from Tottenham to Paris Saint-Germain this month.

Having fallen out of favor under Jose Mourinho, the England international is expecting a reunion with Mauricio Pochettino.

Alli has started just a single Premier League game this season and is hoping that Tottenham understand his desire for a move away on loan in search of regular game time. [The Sun]

Premier League trio in for Lamptey.

Everton, Arsenal, and Manchester City all remain keen on acquiring the services of Brighton’s Tariq Lamptey.

Making 11 Premier League appearances so far this season, the 20-year-old has forged a reputation as one of the most exciting full-backs.

The Englishman committed to a new contract through to 2025 with the Seagulls only last week but remains linked with a move away. [The Athletic]

Alaba all set to quit Bayern.

Real Madrid have sealed the deal to sign David Alaba from Bayern Munich.

The versatile defender will move to the Spanish capital for free at the end of the season, having turned down multiple extension offers from Bayern and approaches from the likes of Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain.

Alaba has agreed to a four-year contract worth €230,000-a-week with the La Liga titleholders and will put pen to paper to the deal in the next few weeks [The Guardian]

Real plot summer move for Mbappe.

Real Madrid view it as an ‘ideal scenario’ to sign Kylian Mbappe this summer, reports Brujula del Deporte.

Los Blancos, however, are against directly contacting the player and will hold talks with PSG.

Mbappe’s contract is set to expire in 2022, and the French champions’ sporting director Leonardo recently stated that they “will not beg” for him or Neymar to stay.
